1. General Provisions
Sliding Door Now ("we," "us," or "our") provides sliding glass door repair, maintenance, and installation services in the Phoenix Metropolitan area. By scheduling an appointment, you confirm that you are the property owner or have explicit permission from the property owner to authorize repairs.
2. Service Appointments & Access
- Scheduling: We make every effort to schedule appointments at your convenience. Arrival windows (e.g., "8 AM – 12 PM") are estimates. We will contact you if we anticipate a delay.
- Property Access: You agree to provide our technicians with safe and clear access to the work area (the sliding door and immediate surroundings). Please remove furniture, curtains, or obstacles prior to our arrival.
- Adult Supervision: A person at least 18 years of age must be present at the property for the duration of the service appointment to approve work and provide payment.
- Safety: Our technicians reserve the right to refuse service if working conditions are deemed unsafe (e.g., aggressive pets, structural hazards, or severe weather).
3. Estimates and Pricing
- Upfront Pricing: We strive to provide transparent, upfront pricing. A preliminary estimate may be provided over the phone based on your description, but a final, binding quote will only be provided after an on-site inspection.
- Scope Changes: If unforeseen damage is discovered during the repair process (e.g., rotted sub-flooring beneath a track), we will cease work and discuss any additional costs required to proceed. You are under no obligation to proceed with the additional work, though this may limit our ability to complete the original repair.
- Promotions: Coupons or promotional offers must be presented at the time of booking or before the invoice is generated.
4. Payments
- Due Upon Completion: Payment is due in full immediately upon completion of the work.
- Accepted Methods: We accept major credit cards, debit cards, cash, and checks (subject to approval).
- Late Payments: Failure to pay upon completion may result in the pursuit of collections as permitted by Arizona law.
5. Limited Warranty
We stand behind the quality of our work. Our warranty coverage is as follows:
- Labor Warranty: We provide a 90 days warranty on our workmanship. If an issue arises directly related to the service we performed, we will return to correct it at no cost to you.
- Parts Warranty: Parts (such as rollers, locks, and tracks) are subject to the manufacturer’s warranty. We will facilitate the replacement of defective parts within the warranty period, though a labor fee may apply after the initial Labor Warranty period expires.
- Exclusions: This warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by misuse, abuse, or negligence (e.g., slamming doors).
- Normal wear and tear resulting from lack of maintenance (e.g., failure to clean tracks).
- Pre-existing structural issues (e.g., foundation settling) that affect door alignment.
- Glass breakage after our technician has left the premises.
6. Limitation of Liability
- Glass Breakage: While our technicians are highly skilled and exercise extreme care, handling glass always carries a risk. Sliding Door Now is not liable for the breakage of existing glass during repair attempts (e.g., changing rollers) unless such breakage is due to gross negligence on our part.
- Incidental Damages: We are not liable for incidental or consequential damages, including but not limited to lost profits, loss of use, or minor cosmetic damage to surrounding paint or stucco that may occur during standard repair procedures.
- Pre-Existing Conditions: We are not responsible for damage resulting from pre-existing structural defects, dry rot, or termite damage found during the repair process.
7. Cancellations and Rescheduling
- Notice Required: We request at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling.
- Fees: Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice or "No Shows" (where no one is home to grant access) may be subject to a service call fee.
